Snow has started over eastern PA but hasn't made it to the Philly metro yet. Depending on how the snow bands set up will determine if the NEC gets the most snow, or if most accumulation occurs further inland over Harrisburg and the Lehigh Valley. #weatherforecast #snow #winterstorm

Updated storm tracks putting less risk of warm air intrusion ahead of this Saturday's weather event. Monday's event is also being modeled as ducking inland a bit more, potentially setting up some snow through the NEC. Models are less sure on this one still. #snow #weatherreport #weatherman

Messy weekend for ski bums in the NE. Low over Canada with a frontal system dragged along. Looks like most areas should just eke out staying on the right side of the rain/snow line though there will likely be some mixing closer to the coast and areas in southern PA.

Looking at this weekend's event: right now the modeling suggests the bulk of the energy from a low pressure system moving up the coast will remain south of ski country. A clipper type low ducking in from Canada won't get much, if any transferred energy from the coastal low.

Monday's storm is in the books. Timberline WV reports 30" total over the last week. Seven Springs, PA says 21" inches. WV resorts picked up 8-12 inches in the even Monday but its been snowing on and off through Tuesday. #snowreport #skitheeast #icecoast #weatherreport #winterweather
