I have talked to veterans all over the country. They’re not happy that, when the VA is already understaffed, Musk wants to dismember the VA by laying off 83,000 employees.

A commitment has been made to those who put their lives on the line to defend us. We must not betray them.

🖤 More 📺 air time on the threat to the US from slashes in @nih is needed.
🖤 Thanks @velshimsnbc.bsky.social for doing this today
🖤 Please discuss impacts on PEOPLE. Loss of a generation of talented scientists who have spent years to get where they are will reverberate for generations.

🖤 I can see people leaving faculty positions to leave US or pursue other jobs. Years of work lost
🖤 Research staff losing jobs
🖤 Hard to see HS & college students choosing this difficult life path now, w/ dismantling of systems to support them
🖤 Collapse of universities

This SUCKS. This child's death was most likely preventable had they been vaccinated.

Please get vaccinated and make sure your kids 1 year and older are vaccinated. Measles is NOT just a rash it can be fatal.

This makes me so upset. The reason everyone needs to get a Measles vaccine is to protect not only themselves but the vulnerable people in our community who are too young to get vaccinated or may have impaired immune systems.
