Our goal was to create a biogeochemical model without hard coding negative feedbacks to learn *all* of the ways planetary habitability could be maintained. Check out our work, which was led by Dr. Preston Kemeny (blame him for all the math) www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...

New paper, full of lots of meandery meanders, led by PhD student Cole Speed. We are using a graph-based approach to track channel migration on the Trinity River, Texas, and to look at how cutoffs change the migration patterns and rates. 🧪⚒️ www.lyellcollection.org/doi/abs/10.1...
