Professor, Fac of Ed, University of Regina. Social/ political commentator. Say no to irresponsible austerity! opinions are yours
It should be this way with every invocation of the Notwithstanding clause-- governments who choose this shortsighted & irresponsible route can clearly, without ambiguity, own it. 3/3

Regardless of whether a government chooses to cavalierly invoke the notwithstanding clause, the public has a right to know for certain that its Charter rights have been trampled. 2/3

So pleased to see the Supreme Court will proceed with the case to determine whether the Government of Saskatchewan has violated our rights and freedoms with Bill 137, the so-called pronoun case. 1/3

truth is no one ever has!-- this canard lives solely in the aggrieved imaginary of some folks looking for a useful foe in an attempt to spread hate--

I love seeing the dances and music that together make up the breadth of our human condition & responses to it

Oh no I think our neighbourhood has antifa— like bad.
I overheard some folks talking about how they love democracy and freedom and one even looked to be holding what appeared to be a copy of the Charter.
What to do?

I very much want the Univ of Regina students to have a union. Student unions are an integral & irreplaceable part of campus life & governance.

I also want to see anyone found guilty- after due process- of any wrongdoing prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Go students!

This really must be cleaned up in #Saskatchewan.
Individual personal donations from Saskatchewan residents should be the ONLY donations allowed.
We could quibble about the limits, but I’d say up to $1,500 a year would be good.
