My friend knit this before she died but hadn’t gotten around to weaving in the ends. I finished it and wore it today. I got a ton of compliments on it, and it made me smile, thinking of her each time I received one. #KnitSky

My best friend who introduced me to knitting died Aug ‘24. I have been helping her husband go through her things and being only 1 of 2 friends who are knitters, I’ve received a lot of her WIPS. Memories reminded me that 10 years I served as foreperson on a jury that found a man guilty of child sex abuse. Today, I realize I have done more to stop child sex abuse than some lawmakers. So there is that.

Scarf knitted and now for the magic of blocking!

Thankfully we aren’t doing my family Christmas until Saturday, so I have a little more time to finish this scarf for my niece (Debbie Bliss pattern). Still have a few more sections and need to block it, but I like it!
