Waking before the birds means coffee with my very good boi. In middle age, he likes to be covered with a fuzzy blankie in bed so I ordered him a ridiculous, hands knit wool sweater this morning. I don't know who is knitting these dog sweaters built for 80 + lb dogs, but I thank you.

I think we found one of Hilda's Trolls hiding at the edge of the forest this past weekend.

Going to need to touch a lot of grass and focus on the beauty of nature in our beautiful part of the world to bring down my BP after this week. I know many of you are feeling the same 💔 🤯🤬. A couple of pics from Dec trip to coast to ease the skyline.

Just a woke Saturday furiously writing a woke manuscript describing the results of a wonderfully woke study in a community owned coffeeshop. Someday soon this manuscript will be submitted to a woke peer reviewed journal and hopefully see the light of day.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) introduced bill H.R. 899 today to terminate the Department of Education. We knew this was coming, but wow. The Republicans a d Herotage Foundation really are hell bent on destroying America.

Today's smol kitty pic. Best decision to adopt this week. Lots of adoptions this week. In our VERY blue city in our Blue state, I can't help but wonder if others had the same idea of turning towards joy and light in the midst of such ugly human behavior on the national stage.

Our family really needed some ensured joy coming into Monday so we adopted kitten sisters from the local humane society today! Coming home Tues. 💚
