This is really cool, and a great idea! I had no idea someone was selling this. The kit I looked at on their website is $3400, which seems a bit steep to me. Hopefully someone can get some use of the free stuff posted above!

Thank you for this thread. I’ve used Lego minifigures and a 45 degree corflute slope and fibrefill as snow- safer & easier for multiple avalanche burial rescue scenarios

Conferences are amazing- people who present are usually passionate and leave you feeling invigorated and inspired. Conferences are expensive and time consuming but great fun- even better if you have a poster or an abstract to present! Choose wisely, some v boring ones too- I won’t say which publicly

Excellent, it sounds as you have a great plan worked out! Build as many personal connections you possibly can because as you may have figured out having people who know you and support you can make all the difference in what is now becoming a highly competitive field 🚁🏔️🩺

You’re most welcome! Are you an ACEM? Currently only 2 spots each year with Auckland HEMS for their PHRM fellowship. Your other avenue is to become a rural PRIME responder. You probably know all of this already but feel free to reach out if I can be of any help 🤓
