There were about 30 of us in room auditioning for a play of five characters. There were four of us older men vying for the same role.

It was darn fun. I hope to do more of these to get more audition experience. 😀

I loved being part of the theatre play of 'The Trial of Louis Riel.' It was such a learning experience and re-ignited my thrill of being on stage after all these years.

I have two auditions coming up and I need to brush up my skills at drloblaw.com

Jane won't believe me when I say the city workers are fixing the sewer pipes all wrong! She doesn't seem to realize us 65-year-old men know everything.

My fellow amazing actors of 'The Trial of Louis Riel.' I'm behind the judge in red, as my second character.

There are many great quotes In Clint Eastwood's movie 'The Unforgiven,' but one I rewrote myself --I must say, with my fat ego-- is better than the original.

At the end of each performance of The Trial of Louis Riel, the Judge polls the audience for their own personal verdict.

Few for guilty, more for acquittal due to insanity, most for total exoneration.

Another great matinee of The Trial of Louis Riel in front of 300+ interested kids.

An actor playing a lawyer was too sick, so director filled in and did a superb job. Shows the skill level of everyone involved, me stumbling along.

Louis got screwed!

I've been cast to play Thomas MacKay, English Métis fur trader, in 'The Trial of Louis Riel' opening 10-Nov at mâmawêyatitân centre.

I'll be a witness for the Crown, testifying against Louis.

What? I only get an insulting honourable mention for my brilliant Apollo model rocket collection while Wendy Lee wins First Prize by hobbling together a fake breathalyser with a bunch of liquids, charts, and illustrations to demonstrate the chemistry of the device.

I wonder where Wendy is now.
