Had a wonderful and very proud weekend watching my daughter Malini Komanduri graduating with a neuroscience degree from Carnegie Mellon @cmu.edu.
I’m so proud of this amazing young woman! ❤️

Seems like ages ago but in Jan I was invited to represent @astct.bsky.social and @ucsfcancer.bsky.social in the White House forum on cell/gene therapy for rare disease and cancers. Of course Peter Marks of @fda.gov was there and articulate, kind and collaborative. Today he was unfairly fired.

This is so incredibly sad for cancer and specifically cell and gene therapy. I am profoundly grateful to Peter for his service, collaboration and dedication through an incredibly impactful career. CAR-T therapies would not be where they are without his efforts. www.wsj.com/politics/top...

Phenomenal presentation by medical student (!) Lauren Scott at Univ Kansas Medical Center demonstrating low yield of MRI, LP and EEG in patients presenting with ICANS. Positive findings were present primarily in patients who already had focal findings. #ASH24 #immunotherapy
