Now that I've had the chance to check the Zoom data, I can say that our Pre- & Early Dynastic Egypt study day was attended by 262 people (210 online and 52 in person) from across 29 countries. Thanks to all who attended! #Impact #Engagement #Research

Yesterday was quite an emotional day for all of us at
@theegyptcentre.bsky.social as Wendy Goodridge retired after 27 years of work at the museum. Wendy really was the glue that held the Egypt Centre together, so she will be deeply missed. Thank you for everything!

Since we had our first online visitor from Tunisia joining an event hosted by @theegyptcentre.bsky.social last night, I thought I'd update our engagement map since we moved online during the COVID Pandemic. At least 61 countries reached (64 if you count Wales, England, Scotland, NI separately!)!
