So me working on #BattleCraze feverishly throughout Oct didn't happen lmao. Still, progress was made, and here is all of the Craze options (Collision isn't 100% complete)

I meant to post more actively and haven't, but progress is still moving! Among others, we have scaling, blocking, dynamic hitsparks, counters and Dire Counters, voice and sound handling, and there's much more to come!

#devtober is perfectly timed with the amount of progress ive been making on #battlecraze lately. Today I coded knockdowns, OTGs and invul periods, among some other stuff! (forgive the stiff-looking fall animation, that's yet to be dealt with)

today i decided "i'll code the input display real quick" and then i spent hours discovering the dangers of mixing arrays and structs together in GM. i got it working but coded in a way that im not happy with because it broke gloriously when i tried it my way

Early but fully functional controller setting and binding. The only thing missing is removing duplicate buttons and binding stick axis, and nice visuals of course.
In-game inputs also respond to these, but the next step is proper command input interpretation.

I'm finally gonna double down and start making some serious progress here.
First up is Controller select. Supports plugging and unplugging gamepads on the fly, and commits the selected controllers to their respective slots. Otherwise defaults to keyboard.
