I just graded an essay that claimed that a city making x change resulted in employment gains of y percent. In fact, the city's report said the change didn't produce as many gains as they wanted because the employment rate went up by y percent at the same time.

I'm assuming most unis have a statement about how they aren't allowed to outright lie to us, including (from UCD) "regarding attendance at class sessions."
Unis: You can't put the onus of anticipating all the dishonest things students will do with AI on individual instructors. Step the fuck up.
