They have also told me they are more than happy to present at any events about their prisoner survey.

If I were currently designing a syllabus, I think this would make an incredibly interesting guest lecture, in a data methods class or in a related psych/crim module.

It seems like an obvious choice as students at various levels look for new projects for the upcoming year. It might also make a good backbone for a larger piece of research around Prisons.

I spoke with the independent inspectorate for prisons last week - HMI Prisons - and they hope academics will use this incredible dataset for research 🧪
