That rdepends on your perspective. There are certainly mythicists who believe Godzilla did not exist during the middle ages and some who believe it all. I take a middle ground- some legends are indeed about Godzilla, but sometimes other kaiju tales get attributed to him. Sometimes even Ultraman!
