It's funny -- I have taken a look through the book and it looks so cool, but it is so complex now that I would really need a group to motivate learning the system. It's the sort of thing that, if I were still in high school or college, I would totally go for.

I loved 3rd edition so much, but never made the jump over to Pathfinder. I'm excited about a lot of the OSR stuff and rules-light narrative systems these days.

Totally agree. We are family, friends, and lovers before we become political animals. Getting people to care is about leading toward a shared sense of humanity, not an existential obligation.

Luckily, you can avail yourself of the entire internet, and the only thing in your way is character count.

Totally agree. There is a skillset involved that is different from your average DM. Ultimately, I'd like to teach people how to do it.
