Our department and UD are a great place to be, with excellent collaborative colleagues and with a lot of fantastic resources available to researchers including outstanding Bioimaging, Sequencing, and Mass spectroscopy core facilities.

I recommend Penrose brewing in Geneva (not far south down the Fox River). Excellent sours and other fun beers.

Exactly. It should be a sealed source. It should take monumental mistreatment of the irradiator to make the thing leak.

I prefer the simpler Eppendorf M4 repeaters as they aren’t electronic (they have a battery but it’s only for the screen). Plus you can get calibrated used ones for $350ish. I still have a OG West German 4780 model too but finding tips that still fit is challenging. Never needed calibration though.
