Working on a short sci-fi horror story.

Continuing my writing procrastination via Ilium, now about 90 pages into the story:
♥️ the lusting-after-a-teenager fellow got what he deserved 🤭
🤖 I am absolutely in love with Shakespeare- and Proust-loving sentient artificial life forms (moravecs)
👩‍🏫 appreciating the history lessons

What I am reading while procrastinating writing and my thoughts so far:
♥️ The world is highly imaginative, as other Dan Simmons’ works.
🤨 A protagonist is already lusting over a teenage girl… once again, a Dan Simmons staple.
😱 A far-future historical reenactment of the Trojan War?!

I’m training in machine learning fundamentals, and as a mathematician, the fact that in a simple function, x is called a feature and y is called a label is filling me with a level of rage previously unknown to science.

I am writing a short story, but it’s threatening to become a novella

I am either insane, or have been in the corporate world for too long, but I’m currently reading scrum handbook for product owners and it applies not only to my writing, but to life itself 😵‍💫
