When a lawyer sides with Trump and not the Constitution, haven't they committed to their imminent retirement? What is the need for lawyers if an autocrat overrules or defies the courts?

When nonviolent resistance hardens, Trump will escalate. He will declare martial law. Military leaders--political appointees--will face a crisis of conscience. Next, the moral burden falls on front line soldiers. Will American troops shed American blood?

To the extent that we have an information economy, Musk's data theft is major spoils from the kleptocracy.
