They can be insufferable. I've enjoyed the season so much more since being off Twitter and didn't have to see all that. Offline, they're much better but I assume most fanbases are (except maybe Philly fans).

The JMU guys were being sarcastic. I'm a JMU fan, and they occasionally post things like that. I think it's mostly toward the talking heads on ESPN. I used to live in Oregon (during the Chip Kelly era) so it's kinda surreal right now. I cheer for them except for next Saturday.

The narrative from outsiders that has been killing me is that JMU stole a spot from ND. That's not how the rules work with us getting a conference champs spot. ND and their fans should be upset at not winning in Sept.

People saying bowls are meaningless have not paid attention at the ends of those games to see how excited the winning players are. And sometimes because players opt out, you're seeing a backup go out and make an impact.

I thought they saw the issues from last week and tried to fix them. Wisloski seems to be a slot weapon they were going to a lot. Just a few mistakes and lots of bad ref calls. I had a few complaints about fans not getting loud or showing any life when Louisiana had the ball.
