Dani Collins continues the winning streak with One Snowbound New Year's Night. Still digging into her deep backlist for a Thanksgiving book to create an annual Tiffany Reisz-style trifecta. She delivers!

Yay! Claiming His Christmas Wife made the list! It's so good. I'm reading it on repeat every time I cast aside another boring contemporary.

It's been an emotional journey in our house. I usually limit this kind of angst to a Meredith Duran book. Thoughts and prayers for your house.

Hmmm, isn't the title always the person who gets added?🤔 Maybe I'm overthinking (it can't possibly be that I've developed too much expertise with this storyline).

I went with a Negroni, but you're right. It is Brown Beverage Season.

Looking forward to some reliable recommendations for great new reads because it feels like there is sooooooo much out there that is, well, not great.

Good point. Her job as a housecleaner in The Master turns out to be a thing that outrages him after all he's done!

Kresley Cole's The Master? I think she's cleaning a bathroom at least once in that one. It's hard remember the cleaning details when the whole chastity belt thing is so distracting.

I just started reading this series last week as part of an Annika Martin run and the next book, Off The Edge is fantastic, a word lover's paradise.

@fatedmates.net did a whole episode on it and, whoooosh, it is something, in the best possible way.

Tunnel of Love is his best. Western Stars is remarkably good.

I think there are skeleton attacks in Kresley Cole's The Witch Queen of Halloween. Maybe? It's a lot of nightmares come to life.

Does Tracy MacNish's Stealing Midnight count? That corpse does surprise her!

Just started exploring your feed and it's like buried treasure everywhere! That Crusie is a Top 5 for me because I cannot resist The Turn of the Screw in any form.

A Midnight Feast by Emma Barry and Genevieve Turner is a great Thanksgiving read: 1965 astronaut marriage in trouble. An annual re-read for me along with Her Naughty Holiday.

Dolly is an important part of Tessa Bailey's Protecting What's His.

Just picked up Hot Ghost and read it last night. Annika Martin always delivers. Thanks for the rec!

Does she prefer set in the US? I'm a fan of Elizabeth George, an American writer but her books are set in England. A good fit for those who like the Robb/Grafton writing style.

That Sotomayor dissent with the photo: here are the receipts! Kennedy v. Bremerton School District has become my go-to example for "they're just making sh*t up now."
