I handed the Vicodin bottle over to my wife to regulate my intake. I still consider that sober time as I was not abusing. I was healing. Heal well my friend.

Congrats. I’m 18 yrs sober as well. I had a heart attack 15 years ago and on the way to hospital I’m telling them not to give opiates. Mr AA going down with the ship. Good thing they ignored me. I had a difficult surgery 3 years ago. I let all my caregivers know my predisposition to abuse substances

Oh no. Nancy Reagan gave us shit advice in the 80s. Heal. Get well. Ring that buzzer and tell the nurse your pain is difficult to manage.
