Took the day off, went to Manchester to see a pal hadn't seen for a year but one of my most cherished people. We went to wine bars and cool food places, ate small plates, drank Very Good Wine and deconstructed the last ten years of our lives. Nourished.

It's my birthday, the radio is playing my favourite song and I've heard from 2 of my friends (in Paris and Helsinki respectively) with lovely birthday messages 😍😍 I also had a brilliant weekend celebrating with Singalongs and friends in London (although both I and Mr Mint have picked up a cold) 🤧

This is frankly adding to my theory that AI is at heart, an insect, where high numbers of limbs are the standard.
Just drafted a tweet (look, we all know that's the technical term for posting here, just like googling is the technical term for internet searches) about AI and deleted it because of the likelihood of AI reading it.

I just do really love Christmas and Christmas Day in particular. Kudos to my parents and amazing family for creating a consistently magical time which endures, and to my superlative husband for also being right into Christmas. Christmas is SO WONDERFUL
