Is this meant to be a slam against lawyers?

😆 Love it!

And, simply because you either chose to not listen to Harris discuss her positions, or you didn't believe what she said, or it was too complicated or nuanced for you...THAT is on you. It was clear to anyone capable of listening that Harris was not going to be Biden.

Well, I've got a Unicorn theme crayon color book for you. There is a section in the back where you can journal all the complaints you have about people with important, complicated jobs who have disappointed you.

I agree that people need to care about our Country enough to actually read shit once in a while so, at a minimum, they can know which party would not allow ab autocrat who craves power to run things!

And, obviously, you don't find the work that Biden did in office to be meaningful, but there are a fuck load of people who have and will continue to benefit from the multiple pieces of significant legislation he got passed. Other efforts were stymied by a stonewalling Congress, or the SCOTUS.

Jfc, your post only shows you have zero actual knowledge about the DOJ's efforts to prosecute Trump! A lot of work had to and was taking place in the lead up to the appointment of Jack Smith. Get your facts straight.
January 15, 2026 at 2:48 AM
Oh, ok, Ugh, thanks for the advice. Obviously, you won't lift a finger.

Enjoy your day.

"Most people" - do you mean statistically people who do not vote, or of those who purposely don't vote for either party? If the former, where's your source? And, if the latter, again fuck the moralist people who would rather not "compromise" knowing that their moral purity would lead to today.
January 15, 2026 at 2:40 AM
Ohhh, you get your facts from a YouTube hit piece, ah, I see you.

Why don't you actually try looking at the real timeline. You'll be disappointed that it doesn't support your narrative.

And, I guess you have zero problem with Trump weaponizing the DOJ, right?

January 15, 2026 at 2:22 AM
Ohhhh, right on cue: some guy blaming Harris for sexism. So perfectly predictable.

I notice you don't even bother to clarify that 92% of Black WOMEN voted for Harris. Or, actually, you probably haven't even bothered to pay attention to the Black women voters, cuz, like, their women.
January 15, 2026 at 2:22 AM
It's not "punching down" to call people out. And, the post is not aimed at disenfranchised voters, but at people who should/absolutely could have voted for Harris, yet because of their own selfish, sanctimonious, sexist (and, let's be real, racist) reasons they stayed home. Fuck them.

Wondering if having someone who knows how things really work is better...seems they would be better able to break or justify not following the really important things. Just a thought.

Kerr has always been well-spoken on social justice issues. Love his strength and conviction to use his platform for this purpose.
January 11, 2026 at 6:53 PM
So, now we have to have congress enact a law that Trump can't invade a NATO country? Jfc.
January 11, 2026 at 6:28 PM
I disagree with your analogy. Also, I sometimes find myself yelling at NPR "why give that fuck a platform?" and then said fuck opens his/her mouth and I'm like "ah-ha." It can be helpful to let 'em talk (or write) so people can more appreciate how horrible/crazy/nonsensical, etc. their position is.

No one associated with The Contrarian is "calling for genocide." And, IMO, advocating for free speech is different than agreeing with or advancing a particular position.

Yup...this guy knows his coworker is going to get away with murder, so knocking a phone out of someone's hand? That's nuthin'!

As if we needed any further example of Musk being a horrible human being or any further excuse to hope the worst for him. What a creep.

You're mad that Norm publishes on Substack because assholes like Weiss also publish on that platform? Wow. You need to reorganize your outrage priorities.

I was sitting in my neighborhood bakery feeling glum when Jennifer announced you and she had just launched. Since I had recently canceled the WAPO and missed reading Jennifer's take on things, I signed up immediately. So glad I did...and thank you!
