my take away: the data is less reliable. this thread mentions reductions in workforce. more work usually results in a reduction in quality… presumably also in the imputed data

farting produced more methane than humans farting. which is true.

cattle account for around 14% of total GHG emissions, the lions share being methane, which is included in the number you cite. methane from human farts is negligible by comparison.

yes human and ruminant digestive systems are vastly different with the later producing orders of magnitude more methane.

anaerobic/methanogenic digestion is critical for high cellulose diets… not so much for the human diet
