Retired Anaesthetist & covid vaccinator. Still have IT role in NHS and in Day Surgery Internationally. Proud Scot, support independence. Long Covid urgently needs research. Brexit is a disaster. Recently caught cycling bug - carbon frames are amazing.
I think I was 15/16 when Auchroisk distillery opened and one of my best friends father was an Exciseman there. We gotto look around it it was what wa scalled 'computerised' as the time (early to mid 70's) so had very few staff compared to traditional distillerys. I grew up to love the output...

Just enjoying a wee dram of this delightful whisky. Always enjoyed The Balvenie from Dufftown not 10 miles from where I was brought up. The smaller partner of Glenfiddich but to me always the better dram.

The question I put
Grok has been creating scantily clad photos of young girls and women for users on X using images submitted to the site. Are there protections in place to prevent you from doing this?

I have no wise words Gerri and I cannot ease your pain. A friend once gave me this book when I faced a major life trauma. When I felt able, I read it and found it really helpful. Thoughts with you and your family.

A sad day, the viaduct between Garmouth and Spey Bay which forms part of the Speyside Way has collapsed early this morning. Luckily the one person on it felt it shaking and quickly got off the bridge.

Day 3 of catch up offered up Sheep Dip, a Talisker and from the barrel blend. All were quite drinkable. No real favourite.

Day 1 of catch up opened 2 doors. Revealing Lagavulin and a French whisky??? Brenne. I'm not a fan of peaty whisky and the Brenne was very sweet so for me not a good start!

Just coming to the end of our stay in Morocco. Marrakech and Fes are amazing. Best food we had was in a really small restaurant in Fes. Restaurant Yacout - you can find it on Google but not TripAdvisor. Second best was in Marrakech at Le Tanjia Restaurant. It also has wine and beer which is rare.

Another cracking day in Morocco. Started today with sunrise camel ride in the Sahara which was beautiful and peaceful. Then long journey to Fes passing this wadi on the way. Dates on the ground drying.
