For cause, Trump wants to remove Cook from Fed Reserve. For cause, how about holding each and all who are not honoring their oath to uphold the constitution, not obeying the laws, and who are causing harm and destruction instead of loving, caring, and working for a better world for each and all.

Texas folks, let’s contact our Texas legislators to vote for all public school children! I’ve contacted Rep Mitch Little and Sen Tan Parker to fully fund schools for all children. $7700 for just 2019 levels. 2025 levels would be a wise choice for the future of TX!!!

Will pray for the new administration to work for the common good and respect our Constitution. Will not watch tomorrow nor call the new leader by the title because he is not a person of truth. Felon Trump FT is my current choice. Will work to love and care for others, and build community.

Watched It’s a Wonderful Life last night. I really noticed the contrasts of then and now. I saw George Bailey’s care for each and all compared to the power plays of Potter. I know I want to live more like George in making a difference in people’s lives and building community for the common good.

Building community in small ways: Sitting on my front porch I waved at an Amazon truck driver who waved back. Connecting!

Disturbed about all the cabinet appointees who are not qualified leaders or persons of integrity or compassion who will work for the good of all not just a few. Want to support advocacy groups in these trying times. Who do you suggest?

Moment of micro hope for me today: I was out walking in the neighborhood and saw a couple with a double baby carriage. Said hello and introduced myself to Mathew and Rachel with 6 week old twins. Spoke again after I was home. Gift of new friends and being neighbors.

Awake at 3:30 am. Worried and fearful of what is going to unravel in our lives now. Seeking to breathe and dwell in God’s loving presence to discern what is mine to do in the here and now.
