A discord-based Multi-User Dungeon (MUD) with roguelike elements
Shrine now has a fancy UI, locations have been added, and now funds go to healing players for free! Funds can be gathered from generous player donations, or from the tax collected when listing items on the market.

Markets are now town specific and require players to actually be in town to interact

We added rare monsters and dungeon bosses today, complete with awesome random names (we're aware that the bat looks suspiciously like a goblin, its a work in progress)

Added a new lockpicking feature for when you're dungeon crawling. It's a combination of blackjack and hot-cold, using a hidden number.

Late update, but we now have a functioning main menu. Buttons will change as features get added/removed, but for now it's got the main ones, and it reappears once an action is completed!

Some new updates today:

You can now $inspect items in your inventory or on the market (and they come with fancy colors to show you their rarity at a glance)

The wordy ass tutorial got... wordier!

Made some changes to the naming scheme of items, giving uncommon rarities a little less tank, but still keeping some fun. Here's a few of my favorites so far

Updated the buttons for the crown jewel of the Driftbound experience: the dungeons! You can now use the sleek new buttons to navigate randomly generated dungeons (though with some small interaction issues). I even updated the dungeon selection menu too!

Finally started to update the buttons for the menus in game. This is the last major task before adding in more features. Previously, I used emoticons for buttons, which was an older pycord function, but with rich UI features rolled out in the past few years, I get shiny buttons to display with now
