The Musk-Trump scuffle was just the prelude to the biggest, ugliest fight for power among souless, nakedly ambitious reptiles this country has ever seen. If an alternative leader focused on rooting out corruption emerges they could walk away with the presidency.

This really was hilarious. I shorted a tiny amount when there was some borrow. Watched it triple then come back to 25% below where I shorted it to make a few bucks. Haven’t been able to get any borrow or options but it’s as idiotic as some of the obscure Chinese no name stocks from a few years ago.

Yes. One time increase in price levels. There was much speculation the fed would ignore this as (in fact this time) transitory. We may be surprised at the consequence of treating it as more than transitory. Our 1929?

Taxes are ultimately deflationary. Tariff is a tax. Idk why everyone treats tariffs as somehow special.

They absolutely are. They need them to offset extension of tax cuts and get inflation and interest rates under control. Ppl aren’t listening to Bessent. He’s being very clear. He’s trying to avoid for US what he did to the UK. Alternative is currency collapse. taxes are ultimately deflationary.
