Glad to see the issue of ghosting candidates has been highlighted by this new report. My recently published research (doi.org/10.1177/0950...) demonstrates how unemployed people feel ignored and stigmatised by the lack of feedback they receive via frequent auto-rejection of their job applications.

It's unfortunately unsurprising that candidates are still facing bias in recruitment. In recognition of this, myself and @emmathirkell.bsky.social developed a teaching approach to support HR students identify bias at each stage of recruitment and selection.
