Today is #WorldAIDSDay

With Lenacapavir or LEN, a new drug WHO recommends to protect people at risk of #HIV instead of taking daily pills, people can now get injections every 6 months.

At the time where funding for HIV is limited, this new drug could mean fewer new infections & more lives saved.

Trump is federalizing the National Guard in Illinois against our will—

An affront to American values and an extreme abuse of our military.

He’s terrorizing citizens in attempt to expand his power and punish opponents.

That’s just not who we are.

It’s authoritarian.

Black women face a 41% higher breast cancer mortality rate than white women. Young Black women are hit hardest. That’s why we need the Nancy Gardner Sewell Multi-Cancer Early Detection Act, led by my friend @sewell.house.gov. We can’t afford to wait.
