My grief has been like healing a wound.

First it was raw, open. So, I kept it covered and clean. I didn’t talk about it much and avoided people interested in doing so. It hurt, a lot - constantly.

Now it’s like when a wound first starts to scab. 1/

This Vikings loss hit me hard.

18 days ago my dad (who taught me to be a Vikings fan) was still alive. As long as the season continued it felt like something we were still sharing.

But this is it. He doesn’t get another season. We don’t get another season together. 💔 #SKOL
