I think there should be a few *more* Special Advisers in Scottish Government.

There is a Cabinet Secretary brief that currently has no named Spad associated with it (Transport). There are single Spads covering two Cabinet Secretary briefs (e.g. Social Justice & Housing)

Stories like these are common in Denmark, unfortunately. I don't know if you have seen Simon Reeves' three-part documentary on Scandinavia, but the episode that focuses on racism and immigration in Denmark and Sweden is memorable and moving. It's a big warning, not "inspiration," as per BBC framing.

I'm not in a party, and I am open to hearing different views on this... but won't this potentially piss off people that the party is better off not pissing off? Ordinary folk don't like being taken for granted or treated with contempt by bosses, and this might risk feelings of that?

Sure, the New York mayoral elections are interesting but I have not really succeeded in building up a network of people to follow in Europe in the way that I did on old Twitter. Does anyone have any suggestions?
