After years of saying "it wouldbe fun", we did it! We cycled from home to Solstrand (34km) for our annual internal seminar at @nansensenteret.bsky.social !

Back from a wave-ice workshop in Oslo, but Bergen had decided to keep me in the mood this morning.
Currently at Geilo station, waiting for the Oslo train to bring me to my first wave-ice interactions workshop🌊❄️, ~10y after starting my PhD on this topic! Decided to spend 2 nights here beforehand, to warm up for it (sure, by -10degC, but well... Snow in the sun is another kind of warmth)

On that grim day for sciences (and for about everything else I believe in), I've spent my work time procras... making a new animation to introduce waves-in-ice modelling. Here is the result! 🌊❄️

End of 5 days of retreat in the mountains for my first experience as a lecturer in a winter school❄️❄️❄️! So nice to exchange with fellow researchers and PhD students, what an experience 😃! Now I must admit I feel a bit tired... The Christmas break will be very welcome!
