Dash was being evasive this morning.
A ginger kitty, Ms. Dash, looks away from the camera. If she can't see it, it can't see her, right? She's pretty sure that's how it works. Bits of shredded cardboard litter the floor, but Dash is looking in a different direction because she had nothing to do with that mess so it's none of her business.

My friend's cat apparently just terrorized a bird who's built a nest on the roof of his casita.* He texted me this angelic photo of her captioned "innocent we are not." So I decided I'm going to start calling her Britney.
Britney (not her real name) is a very floofy grey tabby who played with your heart and got lost in the game.

One of the best parts of the professor gig is the chance to work with outstanding doctoral students. Today I'm excited to hood @nishasridharan.bsky.social--who defended this summer and is already an Asst. Prof. at Temple University. She claims I bullied her into coming back for this. No comment.
