Ici aussi on trouve des boite a livre ou les gens se debarrassent de leur vieux livre. Je suis tombé sur ce receuil de textes d'auteurs commies, edité en DDR en 1980.

RIP Jack Greene. I never met him in person, but without his immediate and unconditional enthusiam I would never have had the opportunity to publish with Command Magazine Japan. He was really motivating and dedicated to have the game publish elsewhere in english. I will miss him.

Playtests for #BombAlley over the #Falklands resumed. Seems to work good. HMS Briadsword hit by an Mk84 bomb sinks after additionnal critical flooding. Earlier during the attack the British tried to shot down aircrafts of the raid with Rapier but failed.

After a playtest last week with my fellow designer Brad, I tried to follow some of his great ideas. Bomb alley saw a major shift from card/dice/chits mechanics to full scale card/dice system. I went from 68 chits/markers down to 19 only used as informatice ones.

Il m'a fallut du temps mais j'ais enfin terminer ce super bouquin de @abrgll.bsky.social . Mon seul regret, c'est que ce travail tres documenté mets, a mon avis, en exergue l'absence de litterature en francais sur le sujet des wargames comparé a l'abondance de la litterature anglo-saxonne.

Preparing a game event later today. Once per month the student association organize an game evening. I decided to go with 3 games, Shibian 1924, Bomb Alley and Bitter Shame (with a new map). Will see if someone has some interest in them.

Design SNAFU. I seemingly always follows a sequence : creative surge (Jan 2nd), intense crafting/building (Jan 2nd-Jan 5th) with excitement (minimal investment in my work BTW), and depression (evening Jan 5th) with intense feeling that Im doing shit 🤔. Anyway, playtests are running.

Creative surge today. I was looking at some of the books I used to create a scenario for #GDW Air Strike and I felt the need to make something on that. It is going to be a CDG, with the Argentinian performing bombing runs in the Falklands.
