It's funny, I was literally just thinking that exact same thing while sitting here. It really does feel like a tacked on "feature" that they were forced to add because some higher up was like, "But what if it had AI in it???"

I'm just making sure we have accurate information for everyone to make their own decision. It sucks they included it for sure. It is going to turn away a bunch of players and for what? So we can customize a skin? Make an entire game and then add something controversial that doesn't even do much?

It isn't made with AI. At least according to them. It has AI tools in it that players can use to make their own things like skins and stuff. They are claiming they made the game itself entirely using humans though.

I'm on the fence because on one hand, Gen AI is immorally created. However, the devs made the game by hand, the old fashioned way and added this on for players to use, not for them. Assuming what they're saying is true. I don't like it being in the game all the same.
