This am’s doomscrolling: every recently elected official seems to be fashioned after a Limony Snicket villain. And as someone who worked on Sean Duffy’s season of The Real World, I owe you all an apology. I thought he was a friendly lumberjack with a funny accent.

I woke up to the Morning Joe Mar a Lago visit, a video of a mother addressing a school board about why she thinks her kid should be able to use the ‘R’ word at school, and a whole lot more dark shit. I think it might be time to call it a day. Oh man, it’s only 430 am.

I got a flu shot yesterday because, let’s be honest, who knows what the FDA will be allowed to do in January, and great news — I can no longer feel my arm. I wonder if there’s a similar shot for my chronic panic.
