I really love the idea of the Riddler figuring out what Anti-Life would mean first and concluding killing himself would be preferably to losing his humanity. You gotta wonder if that’s what Knightmare Superman is thinking with every cultist he recruits and every rebel he kills. Only he can’t do it.

It’s the bit the storyboards just sort of gloss over, the transition period between the regular world and the Knightmare, people slowly turning into either hollow shells or resistance fighters, we know Zack was going to use more New Gods, maybe Amazing Grace would appear?

I mean I think there’s some really interesting psychological exploration you can do with Anti-Life, Superman fighting against becoming a slave king and failing, Batman and his crew constantly resisting, finding out the Knightmare cultist soldier guys are just regular dudes
