Maine population is close to 1.5 million people and is predominantly white, so I don’t think it’s a good benchmark for what’s happening in the country right now.

I love this idea and maybe we can carry it through with our Thanksgiving gatherings and other holiday celebrations! I’m thinking of making charitable donations, including food banks, in lieu of exchanging gifts. Hopefully it catches hold and with easy, short, uniform tag.
