Big time.A prime example of Van Halen using the shuffle would be “I’m The One” from their first album.A fast double bass shuffle from Alex with Eddie’s blues boogie guitar playing.Great track. youtu.be/EllEztdbBhg?...

Always.Trump will never deviate from that.

Lol.No actually.

Blessing In Disguise is a very good album.I consider the first five Metal Church albums to be their best.Although, the debut and “The Dark” will always be my favorites.

Disgraceful.

Absolutely.Heston was very active during that period.

Thank you Jay.I do like certain B-movies-They can have their own “Charm.” I’ll try to watch both.Funny,I have seen most of Heston and Kirk’s 70’s and 80’s movies-But never these two.I just watched Heston in a movie called “Grey Lady Down”-From 1978 the other night.

Sounds interesting Jay-Worth the watch?

Agreed.Even more amazing,it is actually taken from one of their demos.

Masterpiece.

Goran Edman was an excellent vocalist for Yngwie.
November 21, 2025 at 8:26 PM
As far as Yngwie’s later releases, this is a good album.Unfortunately,he has become a caricature of himself with just a bunch of hired hands and no “Real band.” I haven’t purchased anything by Yngwie since “Fire and Ice.”

I concur 100%.It’s embarrassing for a majority of US Citizens like myself.

Hell Awaits for me is their most “Progressive “ album-As far as song structure and time signatures go.They were very influenced by Mercyful Fate at the time, who were masters of complex time signatures. However,as far as guitar solos go,Jeff and Kerry were nowhere near Michael Denner and Hank Shermann

Agreed-I remember purchasing RIB in 1986,and while I thought it was a “Good” album,it just didn’t hit home with me like their “Metal Blade” releases.
November 20, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Taking a massive piss.Ironically,it’s also my favorite Slayer album.Lol.
November 20, 2025 at 5:13 PM
Agreed.It makes me extremely skeptical.
