The art of sustainable productivity
I overslept a little today.

Years ago, that would've ruined my day.

Now, I understand that the productivity I lost from the time I slept asleep will be earned right back by my improved efficiency from extra rest.

Don't be afraid to oversleep on accident. You'll be okay.

Start thinking of the school semester in terms of the regular season and postseason.

Sports teams want to clinch their spot (finish all normal schoolwork) in the playoffs as soon as possible so they can rest their starters (start prepping for finals).

Then they get ready to be clutch in playoffs.

If your goal is to maximize productivity, you need to understand that it's a very long process.

If you don't take breaks, you will burn out.

If you don't get sleep, your work will be subpar.

This isn't to say that short bursts of intensity aren't helpful--they are. But that's the key. "Short".
