Did you watch the video where he explained it? It seems totally reasonable to me. He's a genuine guy who has a past he no longer identifies with and has made mistakes. He's also the best progressive option in Maine.

The dude has never run a campaign before. Maybe he’s just figuring it out. Sounds like they just got the campaign officially set up really and hired a company to manage that side, hence the NDAs.
