My takeaway from this game so far: that Iowa TE is fucking awesome.

Great write up, as usual. It’s weird to say, but Georgia is being slept on, for some reason. That defense, especially the back 4, might be the most improved unit in the FBS.

“More points for wins than losses” doesn’t seem that complicated.

Never tweet anything in the second quarter about the game. Rookie mistake.

They do a great job. Apparently, players and coaches are allowed to make mistakes, but refs aren’t.

It’s weird that we’ve apparently been in an “officiating crisis” since the day I was born. As an ‘85 baby, that seems like a very long time to be in an ongoing crisis.

You can say that about pretty much about how PFF grades everything. Like, how are you supposed to give a real OL grade without knowing the blocking assignment? Or the play call?
December 15, 2025 at 8:49 PM
You can just take out the word “kickoff”
December 15, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Same. I’m in a bowl pick ‘em bracket with my family, and I’m not losing to those assholes.
December 13, 2025 at 8:34 PM
It’s basically every ska band. They can’t play for shit, but we’re all having a good time with the vibes.
December 13, 2025 at 6:16 PM
They play their instruments in absolutely every conceivably negative way, and they have zero ensemble technique, but they sure are a lot of fun.
December 13, 2025 at 3:19 PM
The NFC South is the most ACC division, and it’s glorious.
December 12, 2025 at 4:38 AM
It would make more sense for him. DeBoer and Fisch would be making lateral moves, but Key would definitely be getting more money, and more playoff potential. The fans as a whole would be pissed, but no one should listen to those morons.
December 12, 2025 at 4:36 AM
Probably someone like Brent Key or something. DeBoer and Fisch will use it to get raises at their school (Jimmy Sexton guys), but it’s too late in the cycle to get a splashy guy.
December 12, 2025 at 4:26 AM
It’ll probably be the same as Napier. He’s a good coach, too. Florida is just hemorrhaging coaching and playing talent to the surrounding southeastern states. Cost of living is too high, and wages are too low. They’re all going to Georgia and Alabama, and it shows in the teams.
December 12, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Spoiler alert: you arguing that Michigan State and Penn State are on the same level sounds just as ridiculous.
December 12, 2025 at 4:08 AM
You can keep debating yourself if you want. This is only something a Michigan fan would care about. Just like ND performatively declining a bowl game out of “rage” towards the ACC & the playoff committee. Just a cute little dog and pony show for the knuckledraggers.
December 12, 2025 at 4:03 AM
And no, they weren’t there for Meyer.
December 12, 2025 at 3:56 AM
They did. He turned it down. They knew they were going to end up with a G5 coach, but had to go through the other rigmarole to appease fans and boosters.
December 12, 2025 at 3:55 AM
You can argue whatever you want. You’re clearly too close to this situation emotionally to be remotely objective. Penn State and Michigan are both good programs on the same level. I don’t have any skin in this pointless debate you’re having with yourself.
December 12, 2025 at 3:49 AM
I don’t have to. I have a family member in the Florida athletic department. That’s what they told me. A lot of people turned it down, apparently. Sumrall’s a good coach, so they’re good. I don’t know why you’re so hung up on this. Just need to be right or something?
December 12, 2025 at 3:47 AM
I don’t know what to tell you. Jedd Fisch was offered the job, and turned it down. Lots of people turn down jobs. It’s fine. Every guy that ends up with the job is “the guy they wanted the whole time” and is “the right culture fit”. It helps the fanbase cope, and it pumps up the guy they hire.
December 12, 2025 at 3:38 AM
Yeah. The plays that actually happened count. Trying to rewrite history is very lame, and pointless.
December 12, 2025 at 3:32 AM
People like him aren’t lying. Their job is to maintain access to all the major programs. To keep that, they have to repeat what sources in those school tell them about how “serious” a candidate was, or whether this guy was “offered” a job or not. Not lying, just repeating things.
December 12, 2025 at 3:28 AM
Yeah, and every Penn State fan says the same thing about Michigan. That’s generally what fans of teams on the same level say about each other.
