This year I ended my self-imposed refusal to buy Redskins/Commanders gear over the last 10/15ish years. Didn’t want to contribute to the Snyd. This year I snagged a jersey, 2 hats, a golf towel, and a couple t-shirts. Anyone else end an embargo this year?

Most overrated thanksgiving side dish? I’m talking staples here, not some random Aunt Patty side dish creation, and not Turkey. I’m saying Yams. DON’T NEED IT. Are they good? Of course. But if the ship’s taking on water and somethings gotta go? Yams overboard.

Whats my big message here? I don’t know. I started counseling recently, and something I keep coming back to is… Life is hard, man. Spread love. Give yourself a break, acknowledge your wins, and if something doesn’t go your way- acceptance, and move on to the solution. Thanks for stopping by! ✌️& 🫶

The support from my wife, my family, my friends, the donations- all touched my heart in a way I wouldn’t have expected. It has left me full of gratitude and with a new connection to god. It has changed me, significantly, for the better.

Yesterday was one year to the day that I made it home from the hospital following my diagnosis with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. Generally, it sucked. 10 weeks in the hospital sucked. The 3 bone marrow biopsies really sucked. Chemo sucked.
But- A lot of good came from it, too. 🧵

Times like this, I lean into things that put a smile on my face. Along with my wife and fam… Calvin and Hobbes and Far Side put me in a happy place like some old friends. Ps. People can sit however they want
