tbh I’m mainly here for comics, aurora & space pics, and animé. But I can’t look away from posts on car wrecks that are politics - it’s uncontrollable rubbernecking
I recently had a pt in #PedsICU w/ RSV. The res led off by saying "This is a_-old girl w/ XXX here for...."
Me: "I don't think it's necessary to ID this girl by 'XXX'...unless she's a secret agent, in which case does she have an 'XXX' tattooed on back of her neck?"
Everyone: blank stares. 😕

As awful & fearful as so many felt after the 2016 election, I can’t help feeling it’s so much worse this time around, one of those times in history that marks an actual name to an era, which is rarely a good thing. But I’m more saddened by how this will affect my own children.
