Interesting. There is also another version with wolves and vultures (August Friedrich Schenck I believe). A popular theme for inexpensive prints in those days. This one comes across as even more tragic than the wolf one!

Well, perhaps if his 'MG' hadn't been cropped out in my photo I would have become more quickly disabused of that idea! Now to get that actress' name!

Ha! The two I don't know either! The lady at bottom center reminds me so much of Bonnie Raitt that i can't unsee that, and the gentleman to her left is certainly familiar, but sadly one of the short list of 60s-70s character actors that I DON'T know the names of.

I have no idea what this was meant to promote, and, yes, I recognize them all, but can't name a couple. Just a mysterious piece of ephemera that one keeps.

I like how the Bluesky 'rounded corners' framing restores the rounded edges to this image.

I love Metamorpho, and especially the ones drawn (such as this issue) by the great Ramona Fradon.
