Some of the dumbest people I’ve ever met own or run companies.
Rich people, the “boss” class, KNOW they have failed upward and stolen most of their wealth. It’s one of the few things they DO know.
Having money allows you to be uncurious and shields you from the consequences of being an idiot.

In addition to bad taste, the rich are often not that bright. This will not be news to some of you but it is to many. Our culture equates wealth with superior character and intelligence. But spend a little time with the rich and the truth is evident.

When I was an arts reporter back in the day (yes it’s true), I had access to rich people who were patrons of the arts. (This was in Savannah & Charleston.) Thing I learned: they often have terrible taste. I mean really terrible. That the Oval Office is gilt in gold by an insecure rich man is par.

All these companies suck.
But I don’t know how else we get our show out to people.
I just want Final Fantasy fans to have a show that focuses on the themes and politics and messages of the series and doesn’t revolve into the same toxic nonsense every time.

That boss would later go on to fire someone for very mundane Charlie Kirk comments.
