Continuing to read through Lucy Foley’s mystery novels and I’ve just finished The Paris Apartment. While I was captivated and enjoyed reading through it, I found the characters to be lacking substance and the plot to be predictable and uninspired.

Finished The Midnight Feast by Lucy Foley last night. The Guest List might be Foley’s most popular book, but I found this one to be more enjoyable. While the characters can be a little overly complex at times, the added elements of folklore made this mystery a lot of fun.

Another one down. The Guest List by Lucy Foley was a fun read. Although the buildup took quite long, the way Foley wove everything together in the end led to quite a satisfying conclusion.
