Funding an agency that can kill us with impunity is insanity. Shut it all down until ICE is gone. At the very least, no $s until agents are stripped of qualified immunity and subject to state law & civil liability. Let’s see how reckless they are when their liberty & property are on the line.

Not just AI. The class assignment I would have loved to give involves giving students obviously biased articles and asking them to figure out what’s actually true, not just nonsense. Critical thinking is the ability to distinguish reality from BS.

Sadly, your paper has also memory-holed it from the app and it isn’t on the front page of the print edition. However, a days-old story about what lawyers think about judges gets the prime spot above the fold.

Old strategy. Now, foundations need to step up and fund alternative data collection to fill the void and document the impact. Administration can’t deny hunger if they don’t generate their own data. Don’t let this tree fall silently in the forest.
