I've been using this system and shaping it for about 6 months. It works well, but there can be more. I also run it with a chart of names based on race and some regional tables random occupation and factions.

I'm taking on grappling rules today.

Key points.
- Triggers off agility, but strength for next turn actions
- Grappling is a 2 round action, but adds versatility (IMHO) to deal dmg, reduce a target's mvment, reduce their skills, silence, and knock a MFer out.

GRAPPLE is using an action to grab a creature and hold on tight using a SCRAM check. While grappling, a goblin can use their movement to climb a creature’s body. This is helpful for scaling giants and large beasts. If a creature tries to escape or shake free, the goblin requires a TOUGH save. At the start of the goblin’s next turn, they can hold the grapple to do one of the following actions: HARM deals 2 dmg. RESTRAIN a small or medium creature to reduce their movement to 0 using a STRENGTH check. HINDER reduces a creature’s Skills and saves by 1. SILENCE a creature using a STRENGTH check to stop them from speaking, triggering an alarm, or casting spells. SLEEP is knocking a creature unconscious using a STRENGTH check. The check is easy if the creature is demoralized.

The Goblinhood is coming together for #wipwednesday. A few more pages to complete.
HOW TO PLAY - COULD I EXPLAIN THIS TO MY KIDS? The Goblinhood requires three to five friends sitting around the table, each equipped with a handful of six sided dice. One person takes on the role of the Game-master, GM for short. Their job is control the world, while everyone else plays as goblins trying to destroy that world in exchange for gold and glory for the goblin throne. The game starts with the Game-master describing where in the world the goblins are, this is called setting up the scene. It is helpful to have a map of the area to help the players visualize their surrounding easier, but it is not mandatory to play. The players then decide which goblin will act first. Each goblin will have a turn to do something, called an action, and move themselves around the map. An action should be declared with simple language, so the GM can quickly decide how easy the action is to complete. “I want to attack the dragon with my frying pan.” “I want to climb the cliffs of a thousand screams” “I want to grab the gold idol from the pedestal and run far away” In this game of make-believe, an action is a combination of improvising the situation and what the goblins have nearby. The game is a back and forth between the Game-master and the players, each side reacting to the other to create an ever changing story. The sum of these stories is called a campaign.

Lol, I only played #stardew because of how fun fishing and getting top rank legendary fish. i would sell crops just to get fishing upgrades. I'm broken I guess.
ConcernedApe regrets making Stardew Valley's fishing minigame "too hard" when you start out, but still thinks it's good overall: "I know it's controversial"

I tried new guidelines for room descriptions. Felt natural and the goal is to give players more information without taking previous game time. Maybe it's interesting for #ttrpg and #osr

Describing a room When the goblins enter a new room, The Game-master should describe immediately noticeable features: • 3 adjectives to describe the scene • Landmarks: Furnishings, obstacles, barricades. Anything can be crawled under or jumped on. • Denizens: Any observable creatures in the room and their activities • Movement and sounds • Upon closer inspection: hidden objects are revealed by moving closer or require a search check • Secret information: is information that the players can draw a conclusion from information or confirm by NPCs.
